Some of the biggest names in comedy are uniting to give us some much-needed comedic relief. Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios (the television division of his Allen Media Group) and Funny or Die are bringing together some funny faces as part of their Feeding America Comedy Festival fundraiser, and the line-up just got a little bigger: Kevin Hart, Chris Rock, Eddie MurphyAdam Sandler and Billy Crystal were all recently added to the May event, Deadline reports.

The livestream comedy event is scheduled to premiere May 9 and will feature three hours of content, including pre-recorded comedy segments. Along with the new names added today, the show will also include Marlon Wayans, Howie Mandel, Tiffany Haddish, Brad Garrett, Taraji P. Henson, Louie Anderson, Margaret Cho, Kenan Thompson, Marc Maron, Jon Lovitz, Caroline Rhea, Byron Allen, Billy Gardell, Tim Meadows, Jamie Kennedy, Bill Engvall and Sheryl Underwood. If you thought that was a stacked lineup, even more names are expected to be added by producers before the May 9 premiere.

“Laughter is often the best medicine, and we are extremely motivated to bring attention to issues of food insecurity, and to assist in providing meals to families across the country who are financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic,” Allen said in a statement. Feeding America Comedy Festival viewers will be encouraged to donate to the Feeding America website as part of the fundraiser.

The Feeding America Comedy Festival will be available to watch May 9 at 8/7c on Comedy.TV and the Weather Channel, both Allen Media Group television networks. If you don’t have access to cable, the event will also be free to stream on the Local Now app.
