‘Queer Eye’ Reveals Season 5 Release Date and First Look Photos

The Fab Five are back for Season 5 of their hit Netflix show. Queer Eye announced its official return date and gave us a glimpse at what’s in store for the upcoming season of the feel-good reality series, which is coming back to streaming with new episodes next month.

Season 5 of Queer Eye officially drops on Netflix June 5, and the cast we fell in love with in 2018 is back to help transform more lives: Bobby Berk (Design Expert), Antoni Porowski (Food and Wine Expert), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming Expert), Karamo Brown (Culture Expert) and Tan France (Fashion Expert) are all returning to the show for the upcoming season.

This time, the Queer Eye crew is traveling to a corner of the country where they’ve never been before to spread their infectious confidence and self-love. After making stops in Atlanta, Kansas City, and even Japan, their next destination is The City of Brotherly Love, better known as Philadelphia.

Netflix didn’t release much more about the upcoming series aside from the location, but we do know what’s in store for future seasons of the hit show. Earlier this year, the Queer Eye cast teased photos from Austin, Texas, where they filmed Season 6. The show previously filmed two seasons in the same location, with Seasons 1 and 2 filming in Georgia and Seasons 3 and 4 filming in and around Kansas City. Now, with Seasons 5 and 6 in different locations, it looks like Queer Eye is switching up its filming schedule, or trying to expand its reach with more locations.

The most recent season of Queer Eye aired on Netflix in November, but the experts have been plenty busy outside of the show since. France hosted his own Netflix reality show, Next In Fashion, with Alexa Chung; Porowski is developing his own rom-com with Kenya Barris; and Van Ness released a successful memoir and has been working on his popular podcast, Getting Curious With Jonathan Van Ness.
