Blige for her hits like “Family Affair” and “Real Love,” but she’s also an actress who has appeared in Empire, How to Get Away With Murder and The Umbrella AcademyNow, Blige is starring in her latest role in a supernatural thriller premiering on VOD this week. Blige plays Officer Renee Lomito, a cop on a mission for justice in the new horror film Body Cam. 

Officer Lomito is haunted by the death of a fellow officer, but soon finds that the footage from the night he died includes a mysterious being — and she’s the only one who can see it. In her search to solve the mystery and stop the killings that are happening to her colleagues on the force, she uncovers a dark secret about the shooting of a young black teen and a coverup in her unit. Body Cam also stars Nat Wolff, David Zayas and Anika Noni Rose.
