All eyes have been on the social media accounts of the stars of Southern Charm lately after several pieces of bad news have broken, mostly due to Instagram comments. First, there was Kathryn Dennis’s poor choice of emoji, Cameran Eubanks letting us know she “will not be returning” to the Bravo series, and both Naomie Olindo and Chelsea Meissner supporting their friend and basically confirming they were done with the reality show as well.
But finally, the social media platform provided us with some good news, as it is now Instagram official: Shep Rose has a girlfriend! His new lady friend Taylor Ann Green confirmed it with their first couple’s snap together as she sat on his lap at the beach, with a caption that said, “We’re just promoting the hat” and tagging his company, Shep Gear (can confirm: they have great hats!). This is very exciting news considering we’ve watched the 40-year-old playful playboy spend six seasons of Southern Charm avoiding anything remotely resembling settling down.
The Daily Mail did some digging on Taylor’s LinkedIn page and learned that she graduated from Appalachian State in 2015, currently works at Associate Staffing, and has had previous stints at Courtyard By Marriott, The Biltmore Company and Diversant, as well as serving as a leader with Youth With A Mission in 2016.
Of course, this news will come as no surprise to anyone who’s been keeping an eye on her Instagram, as she also posted a picture back in February with Shep’s adorable dog, Craig.
So while it seems the two have been dating since at least the beginning of the year, there’s no word yet if Taylor filmed with the cast in February during the month the show was actually in production in Charleston. But anyone who followed Shep’s dating journey on his spinoff series RelationShep knows how much fun it was to watch him both flirt and fumble with females, so hopefully we’ll get a glimpse into how he got with his new gal pal. Plans to resume filming on the show in South Carolina, and any clues as to when it might finally air, remain to be seen.
