It’s Usher, baby. Tonight, beloved R&B artist Usher will be performing an at-home concert for Verizon’s Pay It Forward Live series, which unites musicians and fans to raise money for small businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic. There’s nothing quite like screaming “Yeah!” alone in your living room on a Thursday night.
Usher’s benefit concert is the latest installment in Verizon’s Pay It Forward initiative. In recent weeks, the concert series has featured live stream performances from Zac Brown Band, Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, and more top talent, all of whom have been more than happy to support small business owners affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. To donate, buy a gift card from a local shop in your community, tip or pay online via Venmo or PayPal, or use the hashtag #PayItForwardLive to unlock additional donations from Verizon.
