How To Get HBO Max On Hulu

There’s a new streaming service in town and its name is — yep, you guessed it — Quibi. Oh, in related news: HBO Max launched today!

There’s a little something for everyone on HBO Max. As Decider’s Brett White reports, there are over 650 feature films available on the service. From the Criterion Collection to the Harry Potter franchise to iconic movies like Citizen Kane, Grosse Pointe Blank, and Casablanca (three equally legendary films), there is no shortage of content on the streamer. Plus, we didn’t even mention the TV shows! We’re talking Friends, Pretty Little Liars, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The O.C., and a little series we like to call every HBO show ever.

If you’re looking to stream HBO Max on Hulu, Decider’s got your back. Here’s everything you need to know.

IS HBO MAX ON HULU?

HBO Max isn’t available with a traditional Hulu subscription, but you can add the new streaming service to your Hulu plan to enjoy the entire HBO Max catalog.

HOW TO GET HBO MAX ON HULU:

Easy! To subscribe through Hulu, visit hulu.com/HBO. A 7-day free trial is available for eligible subscribers, and after the trial ends, you’ll be able to enjoy HBO Max content via Hulu for $14.99/month.

As of now, however, you won’t be able to stream HBO Max content on the Hulu website. If you subscribe to HBO Max via Hulu, you’ll need to sign in to the HBO Max app (or website) using your Hulu login credentials to gain access to the additional HBO Max content.

WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE HBO VIA MY HULU ACCOUNT?

Then you’re in luck, friend! Variety reports that most existing HBO subscribers on Hulu will automatically be upgraded to HBO Max at no additional cost. If you’re billed through a third-party, however, you may not be eligible for HBO Max on Hulu.
