New shows and specials premiere on HBO Max at the same time: 12:01 a.m. ET. If you don’t see “BMO” appear right away first thing Thursday morning, don’t fret. Sometimes it takes a second for new episodes to become available on HBO. Just hit refresh a couple of times and it should appear.

What Are the Other New Adventure Time Episodes?

There will be four hourlong specials in Adventure Time: Distant Lands, and though we don’t know when they’ll all premiere we do know what they’ll be about. The first, titled “BMO”, will follow the titular little robot on his mission to Mars. Naturally things don’t go quite as planned.

“Obsidian” will focus on Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen as they reflect on their relationship while on a mission in the Glass Kingdom. “Wizard City” is all about Peppermint Butler and his quest to go to magic school. But in the middle of his education Pep is suspended, forcing the candy man to prove his innocence. Finally Distant Lands will close things out with “Together Again.” This last installment will revolve around Jake the dog and Finn the human as they rediscover their brotherly bond and go on the most important adventure of their lives. We’re not sure what that means but it sounds exciting.
