Created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, this German sci-fi thriller has transformed into one of the most interesting and addicting shows on Netflix. Dark started as a story about one teenage boy trying to understand why his father killed himself. Cut to two seasons later it’s now a time traveling saga in which a mother and daughter are each other’s mother and daughter, priests are evil, and absolutely everything is connected.

What Time Will Dark Season 3 Be on Netflix?
You know the drill. All eight episodes in Dark Season 3 will be available on Saturday, June 27 at 3/2c a.m. That means if you’re watching on the west coast you’re looking at a midnight release time. If you’re on the east coast unfortunately you’re going to have to get up bright and early at 3 a.m. But what if those new episodes don’t appear right away? Don’t fret. Simply refresh your Netflix browser or app and they should pop up.
What Will Dark Season 3 Be About?
Last season’s finale was packed with twist after twist. After spending an entire season fearing the whims of the mysterious Adam (Dietrich Hollinderbäumer) Jonas (Louis Hofmann) learned the truth: Adam was actually a future version of himself. If that wasn’t confusing enough, future Jonas did the one thing Jonas would never do and killed the love of his life, Martha (Lisa Vicari).
Mere minutes after one Martha died another one appeared. In Dark‘s final moments we learned that there’s yet another world that needs Jonas to save it. This new and final installment will chronicle what happens to these two worlds as Jonas and Martha try to stop the apocalypse. As they say, the end is the beginning and the beginning is the end.
