‘Scoob!’ is Now on HBO Max

Scoob! made its big on demand debut last month, and now it’s officially available to stream on HBO Max. After Warner Bros. made the announcement just last week, Shaggy, Velma, Fred and Daphne are heading to the streaming platform today.

Scoob! was originally scheduled to premiere in theaters on May 15 before it switched to a VOD release in April. Just six weeks after it officially premiered on demand, the film is dropping on HBO Max.

“HBO Max is the perfect home for these ‘meddling kids’ and their dog,'” said Kevin Reilly, chief content officer, HBO Max, president TNT, TBS, and TruTV, in a June 18 statement. “Scoob! tells the backstory of how these beloved friends met and formed Mystery Inc.  It’s a perfect addition to our kids and family offering and will sit alongside beloved original Scooby-Doo episodes.”

The animated film has a star-studded cast that includes Will Forte (Shaggy), Gina Rodriguez (Velma), Zac Efron (Fred Jones), Amanda Seyfried (Daphne Blake) and Mark Wahlberg (Blue Falcon).
