What if there was a show that was Queer Eye but just, like, all weddings? Sounds like a dream series, doesn’t it? Well, your dreams—dreams you didn’t even know you had!—have come true. Say I Do is pretty much that; three experts land in the lives of a longterm couple and help the throw an extravagant, totally meaningful celebration of their love in just a week. Yeah, you heard that right—a week!
Each episode of Say I Do will introduce you to a whole new couple and a new set of #couplegoals. But since the show filmed in the Cincinnati/Indianapolis area last year, a lot has gone on in the lives of these 8 couples since they walked down the aisle! If you want updates on a particular fave or you just can’t get enough of Say I Do, you can always follow the couples on Instagram. With the help of a trio of wedding angels, Marcus and Tiffany LaCour were able to tie the knot in a truly spectacular fashion. Not only was their ceremony a celebration of their love, it also honored the family members Tiffany lost in one truly harrowing year. Michael & Alex
Michael and Alex Franklin became an instant family when the couple took in their nephews when the kids desperately needed a place to go. Since the episode filmed last year, the Franklins have added another kid to the family—and that’s not a surprise, considering Alex was already 8.5 months pregnant when she walked down the aisle.

Nikko & Amber
Nikko knew he wanted to marry Amber the instant he met her—and his wish came true in this episode. And not only did Nikko get to marry the love of his life in a killer ’90s-themed wedding, he also got to make amends with his mother. How are things going now with Amber and Nikko? Well, literally just had another baby! Meet Lyric, their daughter who was born just a few days before Say I Do premiered.

Mattie & Melvin
Melvin and Mattie met decades ago, when they were both kids in Cincinnati. It took almost a lifetime and some longterm relationships that were ultimately not meant to be, but Melvin and Mattie finally got to live out their love story. Now Mr. and Mrs. Cook are spreading their well-earned love with a couple of adopted kids.

Joe & Kerry
Joe and Kerry Muddiman were destined to be together. Seriously—how else do you explain them being kindergarten BFFs and then reuniting in an Old Navy checkout line 20 years later? The two started a life together, which involves renovating a house and turning it into their own castle, and they got to have the roaring ’20s wedding of their dreams. And since the episode filmed last year, they’re now expecting a new addition to the family (and I’m not talking about new countertops).

Jason & Jonathan
Jason Van Horn and Jonathan Rowe met online almost eight years ago, beginning a journey that would ultimately lead to Say I Do. They had major struggles along the way, like when their wedding plans got halted by Jason’s cancer diagnosis in 2015. But their relationship was forged in the fires of treatment, and now Jason’s healthy, Jonathan got his dream Christmas wedding, and they’re looking to adopt.

Essie & Bruce
It was love at first sight for Bruce and Essie. They met online and struck up a relationship, and their bond was strengthened by a farming accident that left Bruce in recovery for two years. Randy & Skyler
Randy and Skyler never questioned their love for each other, but they often had to think twice before showing any public affection. Such is the dilemma of being gay in the Midwest. But after some family trials and some gentle nudging from the three experts, Randy was able to proudly—and publicly—declare his love for Skyler in a ceremony fit for a king.
