Tubi Adds 30 Seasons of Bob Ross’ ‘The Joy Of Painting’

Bob Ross has landed at Tubi. Fox‘s free streaming service is now home to nearly 400 episodes of The Joy of Painting, the art series that’s gained a cult following for its calming, approachable take on painting.
Tubi announced today that 30 seasons of the show are now streaming on its service through the end of July. One season, the first of the 31 seasons of The Joy of Painting, will not be on Tubi.

“Bob Ross and his unforgettable style make The Joy of Painting the epitome of comfort TV,” said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer of Tubi. “Tubi is proud to be a streaming home for this timeless and beloved series.”
Cinedigm’s Docurama Channel, which is on Tubi, will host the episodes. Cinedigm also has a Bob Ross streaming channel, which they created earlier this year and is currently available on Samsung Smart TVs.
The Joy of Painting has never been more popular, as evidenced by the ever-growing following and tremendous view count that Ross has garnered on social media platforms,” said Erick Opeka, President of Cinedigm Digital Networks. “We are thrilled to be working with Tubi to introduce new audiences to this iconic program.”

The Joy of Painting is also available in full on YouTube, while Hulu and Amazon have a selection of seasons available for streaming, as well.
Ross launched his series in 1983 with his partners Annette and Walt Kowalski. From 1983 to 1994, he created over 400 episodes of The Joy of Painting, and the show has since gained a massive following, from art beginners to ASMR fans.
