We’re hours away from the Peacock premiere of Psych 2: Lassie Come Home. The new Psych movie follows Shawn and Gus as they return to Santa Barbara to help solve the potentially supernatural mystery of who shot Chief Lassiter. Starring the old gang and a slew of Psych newcomers (Joel McHale, Sarah Chalke, Allison Miller, and Richard Schiff) the sequel is a joyful feel-good film that Psych fans will absolutely love.

WHAT TIME WILL PSYCH 2 BE ON PEACOCK?
Decider reached out to NBC, but we have yet to hear back about an official time. Our best guess is that Peacock will follow similar streaming platforms, which means Psych 2 should be available to stream at 3:00 a.m. ET.
WILL PSYCH THE MOVIE 2 BE FREE ON PEACOCK?
*** UPDATE (July 15, 11:00 a.m.): As of now, the Psych movie is available for free on Peacock. Yesterday, Peacock sent out a press release in which Psych 2: Lassie Come Home was listed under the “Premium Tier ($4.99/month).” Is this a launch day miracle? A mistake? A gift from the streaming gods? Who knows! But enjoy the film while you can because it may move to the Premium Tier at some point. ***
Nope. Unfortunately, Psych 2: Lassie Come Home will only be available to stream for premium tier subscribers. If you pre-order Peacock Premium in the next couple of hours, you can purchase the upgrade for a special introductory price of $29.99/year (with ads) or $79.99/year (ad free).
Starting on July 15, you can also purchase a monthly subscription to Peacock Premium for $4.99/month or $49.99/year.
HOW TO WATCH PSYCH 2 FOR FREE ON PEACOCK:
Peacock offers a seven-day free trial of both Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus. Also, as our own Clair Spellberg wrote, Peacock will offer users that sign up via the Android app or another Google platform an extended free trial that lasts through October 15.
WILL I BE ABLE TO WATCH PEACOCK ON ROKU OR AMAZON?
As of now, no. Just like HBO Max, Peacock is unlikely to be available on Roku or Amazon Fire TV devices at launch.
WHERE TO WATCH PSYCH THE MOVIE 2:
The easiest option is via the Peacock website, but NBC’s new streaming service will also be available on Apple devices, Google platforms and devices, Microsoft’s Xbox One family of devices, VIZIO SmartCast TVs, and LG Smart TVs.
Comcast’s eligible Xfinity X1 and Flex customers, as well as eligible Cox Contour customers, will have Peacock Premium included with their service at no additional cost. Beginning July 20, Peacock will be available on Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
