Who Does Alejandro Speitzer Play in Dark Desire on Netflix?
That would be the hunky Darío. Dark Desire revolves around the life of Alma (Maite Perroni), a law professor whose marriage is falling apart. To get back at her cheating husband Alma decides to have a one night stand with a random hottie at a bar. That rando is none other than Darío, a 23-year-old in one of her classes who becomes increasingly obsessed with Alma. While Alma tries to fix her marriage and move past her infidelity, she also has to come to terms with her growing feelings for Darío.
What Else Has Alejandro Speitzer Been In?
Speitzer is likely best known to American audiences for his role in Netflix’s The Club. In this crime drama about young drug traffickers Speitzer plays Pablo, a spoiled rich kid who’s desperate to earn his father’s approval. That desperation prompts him to make some truly shady business choices.
Outside of The Club and Dark Desire, Speitzer has starred in Me gusta, pero me asusta, the upcoming Someone Has to Die, and La Reina del Sur. The Mexican actor has been working since he was five years old, his first role being on the series Ray of Light. From that early age on he’s been a favorite with casting directors. His brother Carlos Speitzer is also a successful actor.
Who Is Alejandro Speitzer’s Girlfriend?
The romantic lead of this mysterious drama is already spoken for. Currently Speitzer is dating another Netflix original actor, Ester Expósito. For years Speitzer was dating his co-star in The Club, actor Minnie West. The two even started a production company together, Wetzer Films.
But that romance came to an end sometime in late 2019. That’s when Speitzer moved to Madrid to film the Netflix thriller Someone Has to Die. It was around September of that year that he met Expósito. It’s unclear exactly why West and Speitzer broke up, but Speitzer and Expósito seem happy now according to their Instagrams.
What Has Ester Expósito Been In?
Expósito is one of the stars of Netflix’s most watched Spanish-language originals, Elite. The teen thriller follows a group of working class kids who have to navigate the luxurious lifestyles and betrayals of their wealthy classmates at a private school. It’s like sexier Gossip Girl. In this drama Expósito plays the rich and manipulative Carla Rosón Caleruega.
