‘After We Collided’ Gets Official Trailer, VOD Release Date

Young love is anything but simple and sweet in the world of After We Collided. The upcoming drama picks up where After left off, and there’s trouble in paradise for Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) — the two may have split up, but they can’t seem to stay away from each other.

After months of waiting, After has an official release date and brand new trailer, which teases the highly anticipated sequel coming to VOD this fall. Hardin begins the teaser with a melancholy reminder that he’s no longer with Tessa. “The entire world is a collection of memoranda that she did exist, and that I have lost her,” he says. “We’re like an addiction to each other with equal parts pleasure and pain.”

But the sobering moment doesn’t last long. While Tessa turns him away, Hardin has his way of getting back together, assuring her, “I want another chance.” Not long after they’ve reunited, though, Hardin seems to stray. He’s shown hooking up with someone who is definitely not Tessa, but he’s not the only guilty one.

Tessa has locked down a new job with Vance Publishing and finds much more than she’s expecting there, growing close to her co-worker Trevor (Dylan Sprouse), who we later see gathering his clothes and fleeing Tessa’s apartment.

The After We Collided trailer only shared two minutes of the upcoming film, but there’s plenty of excitement packed into the first look, from screaming fights between Tessa and Hardin, to smashed glasses and furniture and some steamy love scenes. We might not know if Tessa and Hardin will ever resolve their issues, but we can definitely count on plenty of drama in the After sequel. “I thought that things were getting better,” Tessa says in the trailer. “But I don’t know how to fix it.”

After We Collided premieres in theaters and on VOD Oct. 23. Watch the full trailer in the video above.
