Netflix’s Sugar Rush is back with an all new season of tightly-timed baking battles they’re calling Sugar Rush: Extra Sweet. However one thing has stayed the same: Sugar Rush‘s panel of judges. Returning to host and judge Sugar Rush are Hunter March, Candace Nelson, and Adriano Zumbo. A celebrity guest judge joins the Sugar Rush panel in every episode (and Sugar Rush Season 3 Episode 2 coincidentally marks deceased Glee star Naya Rivera’s final on-camera appearance).
In Sugar Rush Season 3, the rules have changed slightly. As always, four teams of bakers are pitted against each other — and the clock — in a series of tricky challenges. They must create dazzling and delicious cupcakes, a sumptuous confectionary, and then, with whatever time they’ve banked, create an enormous cake. However Sugar Rush: Extra Sweet ups the ante on the competition. If you win one of the earlier rounds, you get the opportunity to either bank 15 extra minutes to bake your cake or the guarantee that you’ll go home with $1,500.

WHO IS HUNTER MARCH, HOST OF SUGAR RUSH ON NETFLIX?
Hunter March is a 29-year-old American host, actor, and TV personality. He got his start in the digital space with AwesomenessTV. In 2017, he became the host of the Game Show Network show Emogenius. He also hosts Daily Pop on E!.
Coincidentally, March is a descendent of some old school Hollywood heavyhitters. His grandfathers are Mel Tormé and Hal March.

WHO IS CANDACE NELSON, JUDGE ON SUGAR RUSH ON NETFLIX?
Candace Nelson is an American pastry chef often credited with starting the big cupcake shop boom of the 2010s. After losing it all in the dotcom crash, Nelson and her husband opened Sprinkles, a cupcake bakery, in 2005. The business took off and made Nelson a culinary sensation.
Nelson has also appeared as a judge on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars and frequently pops up as a guest on morning television and in Food Network favorites.

WHO IS ADRIANO ZUMBO, JUDGE ON SUGAR RUSH ON NETFLIX?
Adriano Zumbo is one of the most famous pastry chefs in all of Australia. Known for his outlandish fairy tale-esque concoctions, he shot to fame in his native country thanks to appearances on Masterchef and a documentary series about his patisseries called Zumbo.
Netflix is also home to Zumbo’s Just Desserts, a baking competition co-hosted by Zumbo and Rachel Khoo. Think The Great British Baking Show meets Willy Wonka.
