When Is ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 4 Coming to Netflix?

Selling Sunset is back for Season 3, and the drama is bigger than ever. Netflix’s real estate reality show packs in a lot of major moments in just eight episodes, and the show is so addictive that you’ve probably binged all of Season 3 already. Before you go back and hit play on Season 1, Episode 1 for a full-series re-binge, you probably have one question: when is Season 4 of Selling Sunset coming out on Netflix?

Does Selling Sunset Season 3 end on a cliffhanger?

Well, it doesn’t exactly have a happy ending. Spoilers ahead!

Season 3 culminates with Christine’s extravagant wedding, a luxurious affair pulled from a gothic fairytale. Only Christine could make black into a bridal color. Everything’s seemingly going well, as well as can be considering that Chrishell’s husband just filed divorce papers.

And then, here comes Davina—! Somehow, she determines that the right time to talk about Chrishell’s divorce is during Christine’s wedding reception. She starts saying—to Chrishell, who is in the thick of it—that they don’t know Justin’s side of the story and she can’t possibly be expected to just support Chrishell. After all, she did meet Justin at a party once and he was nice! So Chrishell does the most reasonable thing: she bails on the reception and Davina’s invasive questioning.

The season ends with Christine’s reception continuing without Chrishell. Heather catches the bouquet (which worked in her favor considering she just got engaged to her boyfriend, Tarek El Moussa) and Chrishell is last seen, surveying the Hollywood Hills cityscape from her new solo home.

Will there be a Selling Sunset Season 4 on Netflix?

Netflix has yet to announce if Selling Sunset is coming back for Season 4. Seasons 2 and 3 were shot back-to-back in 2019, so we know Netflix had confidence in the show when it made that call. Whether or not the show comes back for Season 4 is TBD—and it probably depends on how well Season 3 does. So, if you want more, watch the season from beginning to end ASAP and make sure to talk about it as much as you can, wherever you can.

Also, if you want the show to come back, you should practice social distancing and wear a mask at all times when you’re outdoors or interacting with people you aren’t quarantining with. Selling Sunset films in, duh, the Los Angeles area and California is still reporting around 5,000 new coronavirus cases a day. That’s down from 12K/day two weeks ago—but the pandemic is not over yet. And whether or not Netflix orders Selling Sunset Season 4 is irrelevant if California is still in the throes of a pandemic. This show thrives on the cast being able to meet at restaurants and houses in order to talk about which parties they have and have not been invited to. When will Selling Sunset Season 4 come out on Netflix?

Again, this depends on coronavirus and Netflix ordering another season. It’s probably a safe bet to presume that, even if Netflix orders Season 4, production might not be able to start for the rest of 2020. If that’s the case, then January 2021 could be the earliest production could start up again. The show turned out Seasons 2 and 3 fairly quickly; Season 2 debuted five months after filming wrapped on Season 3. If that’s the case, then maybe Season 4 could come out in Fall 2021? Again, it depends on Netflix and the pandemic.
