The Silencing

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones) stars in The Silencing, a mystery action-thriller now available to purchase on VOD. The film is about a hunter and a sheriff (played by Annabelle Wallis) who get caught up in a deadly cat-and-mouse game as they track down a murderer who may have kidnapped the hunter’s daughter five years before. A man will do anything to get his daughter, and a hunter even more so. Watch it all unravel in The Silencing.

Spree

Spree is a black comedy horror film that brings everyone’s biggest ride-hailing fears to life. Starring Stranger Things‘ Joe Keery, this crazy film tells the story of Kurt (aka @KurtsWorld96), a rideshare driver who hopes to sit atop a social media empire one day.  But Kurt has a “brilliant” plan to go viral: #TheLesson, a livestream event he puts on where he murders his unsuspecting clients inside his camera-rigged car. What killer entertainment! It is up to one stand-up comedian with her own viral agenda to take down this streaming slaughterer once and for all. Also starring Sasheer Zamata, Mischa Barton and more, Spree will perhaps discourage you from using another ride-hailing app for the months to come.

Road House

Patrick Swayze seduced us with his dance moves in Dirty Dancing, captured our hearts in Ghost, but he is ready to kick some ass in Road House. This comedy film centers on Dalton (Swayze), a professional “cooler” (specialized bouncer) who is lured from his job in NYC to go work at a roadside bar in small-town Missouri. This quiet yet imposing figure is put to work as he cleans up the rowdy bar, but his real test comes when a local bully and corrupt businessman threatens to dig up his dark past if he does not back down. Also starring Sam Elliot, Kelly Lynch, Ben Gazzara and more, Road House is a fists-a-flyin’ flick that is available to rent for only $0.99 right now!
