WHEN IS OBAMA SPEAKING TONIGHT?

Former President Barack Obama will close out night three of the 2020 Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, August 19. He is scheduled to go live after a speech from Joe Biden’s VP pick Sen. Kamala Harris.

WHAT TIME IS OBAMA SPEAKING TODAY?

Obama is currently scheduled to speak between 10 p.m. ET and 11 p.m. ET, but no official start time has been set due to the virtual nature of this year’s event. Considering the lengthy program for night three of the DNC, it’s likely that he will begin speaking around 10:30 p.m.

MUSEUM OF AMERICAN REVOLUTION: WHERE IS THE OBAMA PHILLY SPEECH BROADCAST FROM?

Barack Obama will speak live tonight from the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is not the first time that Obama has read prepared remarks in Philly: in 2008, the then-presidential hopeful gave his infamous “A More Perfect Union” speech at Philadelphia’s Constitution Center.

DEM CONVENTION SCHEDULE TONIGHT: WHO IS SPEAKING TONIGHT AT THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION?

Obama is by no means the only political darling scheduled to speak tonight. The evening will kick off with a speech from Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and later, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords are scheduled to speak.

DNC 2020 night three will also feature musical performances from Billie Eilish and Jennifer Hudson.
