WHEN DOES SEASON 4 OF YELLOWSTONE START PRODUCTION?
When Paramount Network officially ordered a fourth season of Yellowstone back in February, it wasn’t a huge shock: the drama brings in roughly 5 million viewers per episode, a figure that easily makes it the network’s most popular series. Early production on Season 4 likely began around that time and proceeded throughout the novel coronavirus pandemic.
WHEN DOES YELLOWSTONE SEASON 4 START FILMING?
More good news! As The Daily Caller reports, Yellowstone Season 4 began filming late last week in Montana. Last Friday, August 21, Chief Joseph Ranch, a popular filming location for the show, shared an image of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch entrance alongside the caption, “Welcome to the first day of filming for Season 4!”
Chief Joseph Ranch’s official Instagram page added that all filming for Yellowstone Season 4 will take place in Montana, where the cast and crew will be following strict social distancing guidelines. “Full medical precautions are being taken on set” to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it explained.
WHEN IS YELLOWSTONE SEASON 4 COMING OUT?
Given that filming has just begun, Paramount Network has yet to set an official premiere date for Yellowstone Season 4. However, as Decider’s resident premiere date predictor Josh Sorokach notes, the show has always debuted in June, and it’s likely that that pattern will hold for the fourth season. With that in mind, we expect Yellowstone Season 4 to premiere in June 2021.
WATCH YELLOWSTONE ON PEACOCK: HOW TO WATCH YELLOWSTONE SEASON 3 ONLINE
As part of a new deal with NBCUniversal’s Peacock, Yellowstone Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on the service’s Premiere tier. Yellowstone Season 3 is expected to hit Peacock in the weeks or months to come, but a specific release date has not yet been set.
