How to Watch the ‘Unfit’ Trump Documentary When It Drops

With the 2020 election inching closer every day, Unfit is shining a light on Donald Trump‘s mental health. The upcoming documentary digs into the President’s behavior and actions while in office, making the argument that Trump is a malignant narcissist whose term has hurt his country. Using interviews with historians, journalists, doctors and political insiders like Anthony Scaramucci and George Conway, Unfit critiques Trump’s leadership and time in the presidency since he won the election in 2016.

“For the first time, mental health professionals go on the record, in an eye–opening, science–based assessment of the behavior and stability of Donald J. Trump,” the film’s official description reads. Unfit comes from The Usual Suspects producer Art Horan, CNN’s The Sixties producer Dan Partland, and The Duty to Warn Coalition, a group of medical professionals who argue that President Trump is “psychologically unfit.”

Whether you’re a fervent Trump supporter or a vocal critic, Unfit is sure to stir up a reaction with its viewers. Here’s everything you need to know to stream the mental health documentary:

WHEN IS THE UNFIT RELEASE DATE?

Unfit does not have a theatrical release date, and will instead be premiering on VOD. Starting Sept. 1, you’ll be able to watch the Trump documentary from the comfort of your own home.

WILL UNFIT BE ON HULU?

At this point, Unfit is not set to make a Hulu debut any time soon. But that doesn’t mean it can never end up there — after the VOD window for Unfit is up, it could make its way to a streaming platform like Hulu.

WILL UNFIT BE ON NETFLIX?

While Unfit won’t be streaming on Hulu or Netflix, there are plenty of ways to watch on Sept. 1. The film will be available to rent for $5.99 on platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV, iTunes, Google Play, Fandango, and Vudu, and any other places online where you can digitally rent movies. You’ll have to wait a few days, though. Right now, Unfit is currently unavailable to pre-order.
