As Halloween creeps closer, we’re getting more seasonal horror to celebrate the holiday. Prime Video in particular is going all in this fall with a lineup of four films from horror mastermind Jason Blum and his Blumhouse production company. Today, Amazon released the trailers for the brand-new films, which all debut this October.

Blumhouse gave us a first look at The Lie, Black Box, Nocturne and Evil Eye, four original movies that all stay within the horror genre but tell very different stories. The Lie stars Joey King in a role that’s about as far from The Kissing Booth as you can get. King stars as Kayla, a teenage girl who confesses to her parents that she killed her best friend, Brittany, on an impulse. While her parents try and protect their daughter and cover up the crime for her, they fall deeper into a complicated series of lies.

Today’s The Lie trailer teases the psychological thriller, which also stars Peter Sarsgaard in the role of Kayla’s father, Jay. It all begins with Kayla spotting Brittany on the side of the rode while she’s waiting for the bus, and inviting her friend into the car with her and her dad. The girls take a break and pull over to go to the bathroom, but when Jay hears a scream from the woods, he runs to find them. When he reaches the girls, only his daughter is there, sitting on top of a bridge over a river — and Brittany is nowhere to be found. “How do you undo something really bad?” Kayla asks her dad. “I pushed her, I pushed her and she fell,” she confesses.

We also got a look at Sydney Sweeney‘s Blumhouse thriller, Nocturne. While King’s film is a twisted, psychological tale, Nocturne dips into the supernatural with ghosts and spirits. Sweeney stars as Juliet, the twin of successful musician Vivian. When Juliet discovers her dead classmate’s old music theory book, she becomes obsessed with its contents and lets everything on the mysterious pages overtake her.

Today’s trailer shows Juliet’s transformation from timid student to bold, accomplished musician, but it comes at a terrifying cost. “Something’s up with you, Jules,” Vivian tells her sister. “I won’t be there to pick up the pieces.” Although she’s widely recognized for her role on Euphoria, Sweeney she’s no stranger to horror — she’s starred in multiple scary movies over the years, including The Ward, The Horde and Along Came the Devil.

The other two Blumhouse films, Black Box and Evil Eye, look just as dark and thrilling as The Lie and Nocturne. Black Box, starring Mamoudou Athie, follows a single father who questions his identity after undergoing an experimental treatment following the death of his wife in a car accident. Evil Eye, which stars Sarita Choudhury, tells the story of a woman who becomes suspicious of her daughter’s boyfriend’s past and its link to her own secrets.

The Lie and Black Box premiere on Prime Video Oct. 6, while Nocturne and Evil Eye hit the streaming service a week later, on Oct. 13. Watch The Lie trailer in the video above, and check out the trailers for the rest of the Blumhouse films below.
