The Banks Are Back: Watch the ‘Father of the Bride’ Reunion Here

There aren’t many good things to cling to this week, so you might as well watch Father of the Bride Part 3(ish) on Netflix’s YouTube or Facebook page to feel some semblance of joy. In case you haven’t heard, yes, Nancy Meyers wrote and directed a third Father of the Bride film in quarantine… sort of.

Father of the Bride Part 3(ish) is more like a scripted virtual reunion special, reuniting the Father of the Bride cast—including Steve Martin, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and the rest of the Banks family—over video chat. Why? For charity! Meyers is a longtime supporter of the organization World Central Kitchen, which recently has been providing meals for kids and families impacted by COVID-19. Father of the Bride Part 3(ish) is intended to raise awareness and support for the organization, which you can find out more about on the World Kitchen Website.

While lots of actors and filmmakers have been taking advantage of everyone’s relatively open schedules to stage virtual reunions, Martin promised on the Today show this morning that this reunion will be a little more involved. “It’s a script with actors with a story,” he said.

Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch Father of the Bride Part 3.

HOW TO WATCH FATHER OF THE BRIDE PART 3ISH:

Good news! Father of the Bride Part 3ish is streaming right now on the official Netflix YouTube and Facebook page. You can watch it right here! Hurry up! You’re missing it!

WHEN DOES FATHER OF THE BRIDE PART 3ISH COME OUT ON NETFLIX?

The Father of the Bride Part 3ish premiered on Friday, September 25th at 3pm PST, or 6pm EST on the Netflix YouTube and Facebook. But if you missed the stream when it premiered, never fear—you can still watch it above.

WHO’S IN THE FATHER OF THE BRIDE PART 3ISH CAST?

The cast of the 1991 Father of the Bride is all back, including Steve Martin as George Banks, Diane Keaton as Nina Banks, Kieran Culkin as Matty Banks, Kimberly Williams-Paisley as Annie Banks-MacKenzie, George Newbern as Bryan MacKenzie, and Martin Short as Franck Eggelhoffer. Of course, it has been almost 30 years since the original, so brace yourselves for everyone to look a little older than you remember.

Netflix also promised that “a few special guests” would appear, so keep your eyes peeled for celebrity guests. Personally, my money is on Meryl Streep.
