Joe Biden won’t let a canceled debate stop him. The Democratic nominee for president announced he would be holding a town hall after the previously scheduled Oct. 15 debate was called off because of President Donald Trump, who refused to attend a virtual event after he was diagnosed with coronavirus. Tonight, Biden will be addressing the nation in his own individual event, instead.
Not long after Biden announced his town hall, Trump revealed that he, too, would be holding an event in place of the now-canceled debate.
The two nominees will still be facing off in their own way, but they’ll be doing it from separate states and addressing different audiences. The town halls are scheduled for the same night and the same time, so if you’re looking to tune into both, it’ll be a little tricky to catch everything. If you’re especially interested in Biden’s town hall, here’s everything you need to know to watch:
WHEN IS THE JOE BIDEN TOWN HALL TONIGHT?
Biden’s town hall takes place tonight, Oct. 15, at 8/7c, right when Trump’s hour-long event also kicks off. The Democratic nominee’s town hall will last for a full hour and a half, and a 30-minute post-town hall show is set to air after, beginning at 9:30/8:30c.
WHERE IS THE JOE BIDEN TOWN HALL MEETING?
The presidential hopeful will be speaking from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his home state. Around twenty local Pennsylvania voters are expected at the town hall, ready to offer up their questions to Biden.
WHO IS MODERATING BIDEN’S TOWN HALL?
It won’t just be Biden on TV tonight. You’ll also see Biden town hall moderator George Stephanopoulos, ABC’s chief news anchor and Good Morning America co-host.
