What Time Will ‘Rebecca’ Be on Netflix?

Armie Hammer and Lily James are going full gothic romance this Halloween with Netflix’s Rebecca, a retelling of Dame Daphne du Maurier’s 1938 novel about a widower, his new wife, and the figurative ghost of his first wife—aka Rebecca—who haunts their marriage.

Of course, Hammer and James are not the first actors to take on this classic tale. Most know Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine as Maxim de Winter and his new wife, from the 1940 Alfred Hitchcock adaptation, which won Best Picture at the Oscars. This time, the adaptation is helmed by English director Ben Wheatley (Free Fire, High Rise). In addition to Hammer and James, the new Rebecca cast includes Kristin Scott Thomas as Mrs. Danvers, the villainous head housekeeper; Tom Goodman-Hill as Frank Crawley, the kindly groundskeeper; Keeley Hawes as Beatrice Lacy; Sam Riley as Jack Favell, Rebecca’s cousin; and Ann Dowd as Mrs. Van Hopper.

It’s true that remakes are rarely as good as the original, but how can you say no to Armie Hammer and Lily James? Here’s everything you need to know about the Rebecca release date and release time.
