When the world needed Borat most, he vanished… but nearly 15 years passed, and Sacha Baron Cohen is back in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, coming out on Amazon Prime this Friday.

Filmed in secret over the summer, Borat 2 will feature Cohen as his infamous alter-ego, the fictitious Kazakh journalist traveling in the U.S., totally oblivious to American social norms. Borat interacts with real people—usually conservatives—who don’t realize they’re the butt of the joke for a comedy movie-film. While the first Borat—which was a huge success when it debuted in 2006—took aim at George W. Bush and his supporters, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm will take on the Trump administration and the COVID-19 pandemic. The film’s tagline is “Wear a mask, save a life,” and comes with a poster of Cohen wearing a mask like a banana hammock thong—so that should give you some idea of what to expect.
