VH1 Brings Back Tiffany “New York” Pollard For Reunion Special ‘I Love New York: Reunited’

VH1 is bringing the HBIC and her men back together for a very special I Love New York reunion, hunni. The network told Page Six that they will be filming a reunion special that will bring Tiffany “New York” Pollard back together with some of her suitors from her dating show I Love New York, which ran for two seasons from 2007-2008.

The special will “revisit the show’s greatest moments, break down the biggest heartbreaks, and dive into how the cast members’ lives have evolved through the years,” Page Six reports. Somehow it’s been twelve years and yet it feels like no time has passed at all.

Pollard first gained notoriety as the breakout star of VH1’s Flavor of Love, which she starred on for two seasons while attempting to win the heart of Flavor Flav. Due to her popularity with fans (it’s been more than a decade and she is still one of the internet’s most popular memes), New York, as she was dubbed by Flav, was given her own spinoff in which she sought love herself. That first season of her show proved to be a springboard for the careers of the male contestants like Real and Chance (the nicknames bestowed on brothers Kamal and Ahmad Givens, who then went on to star in their own looking-for-love spinoff.) Season two featured contestants David Otunga, nicknamed, Punk, who would go on to marry Jennifer Hudson in real life, and Frank Maresca, who would later get his own show, Frank The Entertainer in A Basement Affair.

While VH1 has not announced which of these men or any of the other contestants who appeared on I Love New York will be in attendance, we’re really just curious if she’ll be bringing her mother, Sister Patterson to the party. Sadly, we know that one contestant will not be there: Ahmad “Chance” Givens passed away from cancer in 2015. Vivica A. Fox is set to host the reunion special.

The network has a soft spot in its heart for Pollard, who is undoubtedly their biggest breakout star of the Celebreality era, and has featured her over the years in several other projects, most recently in her own celebrity interview web series Brunch With Tiffany. I Love New York: Reunited is due to air November 23, just in time for Thanksgiving. Enjoy your pumkin pie.
