The Undoing has officially arrived. We all missed the drama of Big Little Lies, but Nicole Kidman is serving up more chilling, gripping scenes in HBO‘s new drama, which she stars in alongside Hugh Grant. The two play a wealthy New York City couple whose lives are changed forever after a violent death.
The miniseries, which premiered on HBO last night, is based on the novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. And of course, there’s a Big Little Lies connection, too: creator David E. Kelley serves as creator, writer, and showrunner on The Undoing, teaming up with Kidman, who executive produced the series.

The Undoing is a miniseries, so there are only six episodes. The first, “The Undoing,” aired last night, and next up is “The Missing,” which premieres next Sunday, Nov. 1. The series ends with the finale, ominously titled “The Bloody Truth,” on Nov. 29.
