The Craft: Legacy

This supernatural thriller tells the story of a group of eclectic girls who, after finding the fourth member of their incomplete coven, realize their newfound powers as aspiring teenage witches. But their newfound strengths and bonds of sisterhood make for fun and games only for a little while as the young women soon find themselves in way over their heads and facing a villain bent on taking their powers for himself. Alone

Tyler Posey stars in Alone, the American counterpart to the South Korean film, #Alive. This horror film is set in a world where a global pandemic (ha ha) has paved the way for a zombie apocalypse. So when the flesh-hungry beings take over Aidan (Posey)’s apartment complex, he decides to barricade himself into his unit— cutting himself off from the danger outside as well as the rest of humanity. Can you say social distancing? Weeks go by and Aidan believes himself to be completely alone until a girl from across the alley makes contact. You can probably guess what happens next, but check out Alone anyways!

Hellraiser

What better way to kick off the Halloween weekend than by watching the legendary movie, Hellraiser? This 1987 supernatural horror film from now-renowned writer and director Clive Barker kicked off the cult franchise that has made its indelible mark on the entertainment industry. Hellraiser — and its nine subsequent films — center on the “Cenobites,” a group of murderous beings from another dimension that cannot differentiate between pain and pleasure. When sexual deviant Frank (played by Sean Chapman) tinkers with a puzzle box that he found abroad, he inadvertently opens the portal to hell, unleashing the Cenobites which then tear his body apart. Ever heard of the terrifying antagonist called “Pinhead?” Find out how the infamous villain and horror movie icon got the name in Hellraiser.
