New on Netflix November 6: Citation

New on Netflix this weekend is Citation, the original drama film about a young student’s battle against the academic establishment that failed to protect her. Set in Nigeria, the movie centers on a bright female student who finds herself in a battle for integrity and justice against her school when she reports a popular professor who tried to rape her. We have watched many “he said, she said” stories play out on screen, but Citation sets itself apart in how it explores sexual assault accusations in the Nigerian culture. New on Hulu November 6: Killing Eve Season 3

If you somehow missed Season 3 of Killing Eve back in the spring — maybe from all those extremely social, outdoor activities — then worry not because the latest installation of the hit dramedy series is new on Hulu this weekend. In Season 3 of Killing Eve, we pick back up with our femme fatales as they try to rebound from events in Season 2’s dramatic ending. While Villanelle (Jodie Comer) has moved on by completely evading her assassin duties and living a life of luxury, Eve (Sandra Oh) has not recovered as easily — more emotionally than physically. But when a new huntress makes her presence known in the criminal underworld, both women must make some hard decisions about whether they will return to the hunt. This season of Killing Eve set itself apart from its violent and erotic predecessors, and this deeper, darker and more psychological storyline explores motherhood and femininity in ways not done before.
