What’s Next for ‘The Bachelorette’ After Clare’s Engagement?

Last night, The Bachelorette finally gave us what we’d been waiting for all season long. After teasing it for weeks, the show revealed Clare Crawley‘s engagement to contestant Dale Moss, the man she knew was destined to be her husband right when he first stepped out of the limo on night one.

But the show is far from over — thankfully,  ABC has plenty more in store for us, and we got a small sneak peek last night with the introduction of Tayshia Adams, our new official Bachelorette taking over the rose-gifting duties after Clare’s exit. While we only saw her at the very end of the episode, we can’t wait to see where her Bachelorette journey takes her.

Here’s everything you can expect to next week see ahead of the next episode of The Bachelorette:

WHO IS TAYSHIA ADAMS?

Adams, dubbed a “fan favorite” by ABC, has been brought in to keep this season going after Clare’s exit. The Orange County native is described as “your not-so-basic girl next door who loves a little adrenaline and never misses church on Sundays. Spending time with her family is one of her favorite ways to enjoy her days, and for this sunshine-loving California girl, family is everything!” She’s also a podcast host who loves to travel, and is looking for the perfect companion for her next trip.

If Tayshia looks familiar to you, it’s likely you’ve seen her on the reality dating series before. The new Bachelorette first appeared on Season 23 of The Bachelor as a contestant vying for the heart of Colton Underwood. After leaving the show, she later appeared on the franchise spinoff, Bachelor in Paradise.

ARE MORE MEN COMING ONTO THE BACHELORETTE?

We’re just getting to know the guys from Clare’s season, but ABC is ready to give Tayshia even more options. The network confirmed that yes, more men will be brought on next week to compete for Tayshia’s time and attention. “Just when she is ready to begin her journey, another surprise arrives—more men are added to the 16 remaining bachelors who are excited to get to know her,” they teased. The Bachelorette is adding four more brand-new men, bringing the total number up to 20.

WILL WE STILL SEE CLARE AND DALE ON THE BACHELORETTE NEXT WEEK?

Clare and Dale got their happily ever after, complete with a sparky diamond ring, but we haven’t seen the last of those two. Expect to see the happy couple return for next week’s episode, where they chat with Bachelor and Bachelorette host Chris Harrison and “try to explain the thunderbolt that hit both of them simultaneously.” Did Clare and Dale really fall in love so quickly, or were they chatting before the show? Sounds like we’ll have to wait until next week to know the answer.

WHEN IS THE BACHELORETTE ON NEXT WEEK?

While this week’s episode was pushed to Thursday due to the presidential election, we’re back to the regular schedule next week. Catch the next episode of The Bachelorette next Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 8/7c on ABC.
