Are Tuesdays the new Fridays? Earlier this morning, Netflix dropped all eight episodes of their new holiday rom-com Dash & Lily, and Hulu released the first three episodes of Hannah Fidell’s new drama A Teacher.
Based on Fidell’s 2013 movie of the same name, A Teacher centers on Claire Wilson (Kate Mara), a young high school teacher who embarks on an affair with one of her underage students (Nick Robinson). Hulu’s new miniseries has earned mix reviews — it currently has a 58% Tomatometer Score on Rotten Tomatoes — with Decider’s Kayla Cobb calling the show a “teacher-student grooming drama” that’s built to be uncomfortable.
