Mariah Carey’s Christmas Special to Feature Ariana Grande, Tiffany Haddish and More

Mariah Carey is ready to deck the halls at Apple TV+ this holiday season! After first announcing her Christmas special this summer, Carey has set a date for her festive show, which will premiere on the streaming platform Friday, Dec. 4, Variety reports. The special, titled Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special, features a crisis in the North Pole that only Carey can help solve.

So, the Christmas queen uses her musical abilities to save the day with a little help from some special guests, including Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland, Mykal-Michelle Harris and Carey’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

And once the special is over, you can still listen to the songs thanks to Apple Music, which will release the Christmas special soundtrack Dec. 4. The soundtrack, which will be released across music platforms beginning Dec. 11, will include songs like “Sleigh Ride” featuring Snoop Dogg.

Carey, Ian Stewart, and Raj Kapoor and Ashley Edens executive produced the musical event for Done + Dusted, the production company behind recent virtual events like The Disney Family Singalong and Dear Class of 2020, as well as The Little Mermaid Live and John Legend’s A Legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy.
