Discovery is unveiling its new streaming service, discovery+, which officially launches Jan. 4, 2021. The company announced today that discovery+, which will mark the largest-ever content library for a new streaming service with over 55,000 episodes, will launch with new and exclusive originals, including new 90 Day Fiancé franchises, plus fresh series from Chip and Joanna Gaines; Sir David Attenborough, David Schwimmer and more.

Discovery+, which costs $4.99 per month for a standard subscription or $6.99 per month for an ad-free version, will include content from across Discovery’s networks, which include HGTV, Food Network, TLC, ID, OWN, Animal Planet, and Discovery Channel. With its January launch, discovery+ is partnering with Verizon to give some of their customers a full year of the new service for free.

“With discovery+, we are seizing the global opportunity to be the world’s definitive product for unscripted storytelling, providing households and mobile consumers a distinct, clear and differentiated offering across valuable and enduring lifestyle, and real life verticals,” said David Zaslav, President and CEO of Discovery, Inc. “We believe discovery+ is the perfect complement to every streaming portfolio, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with Verizon to bring this incredible content to their customer base.”

Customers can expect a slew of new series on discovery+, including four new 90 Day Fiancé shows: 90 Day Bares All, 90 Day Diaries, 90 Day Journey, and The Other Way Strikes Back!. The extensive library will also be home to food shows like Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis’ Bobby and Giada in Italy, Ludacris’ Luda Can’t Cook, and Amy Schumer Learns to Cook: Uncensored. Subscribers can expect more originals across genres, including lifestyle, paranormal, adventure, home, true crime, and nature and science content.
