Tenet is coming out on-demand tomorrow, and even though surely you risked exposure to COVID-19 to see Tenet in an IMAX theater as Christopher Nolan intended, Decider is here to give you the low-down on how to watch Tenet online all the same.
Starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Tenet is a sci-fi action thriller centered on the idea of “reverse entropy,” or the fictional phenomenon of objects and people moving backward through time instead of forward. Tenet will come out on digital in 4K, as well as on DVD and Blu-Ray, on Tuesday, December 15. You can now pre-order Tenet on Amazon, Vudu, iTunes/Apple TV, Google Play, Microsoft, FandangoNow, or wherever you purchase digital content for $19.99.
WHAT TIME WILL TENET BE ON VOD?
VOD release times will vary depending on which service you use to purchase Tenet, but new titles are usually added to iTunes at around 12 a.m. ET and Amazon at about 12 a.m. PT.
WHEN WILL TENET BE AVAILABLE TO RENT ON VOD?
Tenet will be available to rent on-demand beginning January 5, 2021. Until then, you’ll only have the option to purchase a digital or a physical copy of the film for $19.99. Once you buy the film, you will be able to watch it as many times as you want, for as long as you want.
IS TENET ON NETFLIX OR HULU?
Sorry, no. Tenet is not on Netflix or Hulu, and it’s unlikely that the film will ever come to Netflix or Hulu, given that Tenet is a Warner Bros. film and Warner Bros. has its own streaming service, HBO Max.
