Fans of The Wilds can rejoice: Amazon Prime has renewed the series for a second season. The survivalist adventure series akin to Lost will be following the girls for more drama-filled episodes, so get ready. The series premiered on Prime Video in early December and was picked up this week. If you want to know what happens to Leah, Gretchen, Nora, and the others, there’s more to come.
Sarah Streicher‘s The Wilds follows a handful of teenage girls with entirely different backgrounds who end up working together after a tragic plane crash in Hawaii. They were headed to the Dawn of Eve, a woman’s empowerment retreat, unfortunately ending up trapped on a deserted island instead. Teaming up and sharing advice from their varying skill-sets, the girls must work together as castaways to stay alive. What they don’t know, though, is that the whole thing is actually orchestrated by the Dawn of Eve program.

When will The Wilds Season 2 premiere on Amazon Prime?
At the moment, that’s unclear. Season 2 is coming, we just don’t know when yet. Possibly sometime later next year, or maybe in early 2022 depending on the status of filming during COVID.
It looks like the girls may already be back and filming on the beach, from the looks of their Season 2 announcement post. If they’re filming at the moment, this bumps the possibility of Season 2 dropping sometime later next year instead of 2022. What will Season 2 of The Wilds be about?
The plot for Season 2 is also left unclear, but it’ll certainly have to do with unpacking the oddball mystery of The Dawn of Eve, which dropped these girls on the island together. We’ve also been introduced to a set of boys with The Twilight of Adam, so we can expect more collaboration between the girls and the guys. There’ll probably be more to come with Gretchen’s experiment for sure — we just don’t know what to expect.
Who will be in the cast for Season 2 of The Wilds?
The same crew as before. No new cast has been announced, and none of the cast has been reported to be dropping the series. That means we can expect to see appearances from Sophia Ali, Shannon Berry, Jenna Clause, Reign Edwards, Mia Healey, Helena Howard, Rachel Griffiths, and more in Season 2.
