HBO Max may not be an actual superhero, but this Christmas, it’s bringing out its big guns–or golden lassos, as it may be. In hopes to stimulate more subscribers, the premium streaming service will be premiering the eagerly anticipated Wonder Woman 1984—and all upcoming Warner Bros. 2021 films—the same day as the theater release. And to sweeten the pot, it is also offering a limited time discount of $70 for six months of prepaid service.
Warner Media also wants to make sure every current HBO subscriber knows that they, too, have full access to HBO Max. And, thankfully, with the recent agreement on December 17, Roku users who were cut off from downloading and accessing the app on their devices, can also get it on any Roku player or TV. You can also watch it online at HBOMax.com on your laptop or desktop, or stream it from all Amazon Fire TV devices, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV and most Xbox and PlayStation devices.
In addition to the Christmas Day gift of Wonder Woman 1984, which will begin streaming on HBO Max at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, what else can you look forward to with the 22 percent off for six months subscription? Warner Bros will be enticing viewers with other upcoming blockbusters like the Denzel Washington crime thriller, The Little Things, LeBron’s Looney Tunes takeover Space Jam: A New Legacy, DC’s villainous The Suicide Squad, and the remake of the classic Dune featuring Timothee Chalamet. Plus, bada bing! Sopranos fans can look forward to the prequel feature film, The Many Saints of Newark, which will star James Gandolfini’s son, Michael Gandolfini as the young Tony Soprano.
