Where to Watch Liam Neeson’s ‘The Marksman’

Sometimes you just need to watch a Liam Neeson action movie to get you through the crushing tedium of existence. Luckily for you, there are a ton of Liam Neeson action movies to choose from. You’ve got Unknown, currently streaming on Netflix; Taken, currently streaming on Starz; Widows, currently steaming on HBO Max; and so much more.

And now you can add a new Liam Neeson movie to the rotation: The Marksman, which is not currently streaming anywhere, but did open in theaters last week. Here’s what we know so far about where to watch The Marksman.

WHAT IS THE MARKSMAN ABOUT?

Neeson stars as a former-marine-turned-rancher named Jim Hanson, who lives along the Arizona-Mexico border and narcs on the illegal border crossings. But he hesitates when he meets a mother named Rosa (Teresa Ruiz) and her son Miguel (Jacob Perez). Without spoiling anything, we’ll just say that one thing leads to another, and Jim ends up driving Miguel across the country to get him to family living in Chicago.

WHAT IS THE MARKSMAN RELEASE DATE?

The Marksman opened in U.S. theaters on January 15, 2021.

WILL THE MARKSMAN BE ON STREAMING?

Currently, The Marksman is only available to watch in theaters in the U.S. The film does not yet have a digital, on-demand, or streaming release date. Stay tuned!

WHERE TO WATCH THE MARKSMAN:

Right now, the only way to watch The Marksman is in a movie theater. Check your local theater to see if The Marksman is playing, and then weigh the risks of potentially catching a deadly virus against the allure of a new Liam Neeson movie. I’ll remind you that The Grey is currently available to rent on digital platforms for just $4. I’ll also add that Liam Neeson kills a bunch of wolves in that one. Just something to think about!
