After taking a brief hiatus in December, This Is Us is back with the rest of Season 6, bringing us along for more Pearson family ups and downs as their dramatic journey continues. While last episode, “Birth Mother,” revealed more information about Randall’s (Sterling K. Brown) birth mother and left Kevin (Justin Hartley) panicked in a car while Madison went into labor, we’ll have to wait a little while to see what happens after the events of Episode 6.
In a last-minute switch, NBC changed up their TV schedule tonight and This Is Us fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see what happens to their favorite onscreen family.

IS THIS IS US ON TONIGHT?
If you were hoping to kick back and relax tonight with a new episode of This Is Us, we’re sorry to say the hit drama won’t be returning with new content this week. Although we got a fresh episode last week, a new episode of This Is Us is not on tonight.
NBC TV SCHEDULE: IS THIS IS US A RERUN TONIGHT?
In place of a new episode of This Is Us tonight, NBC will be airing a rerun. Viewers tuning in at 9/8c will be treated to a repeat showing of the Season 4 episode, “The Cabin.”
WHY ISN’T THIS IS US ON TONIGHT?
While we won’t be seeing a new episode of This Is Us tonight, it’s for a likely reason these days. The NBC drama has unfortunately been affected by coronavirus production delays in Los Angeles, so they’ve halted filming for a few weeks, producer Dan Fogelman explained on Twitter.
As for when we’ll be getting a new episode, we hopefully won’t have to wait too long. While NBC hasn’t released a formalized schedule for Season 6 of This Is Us, Fogelman promises the rest of the season is well worth the wait. “The next few are bigs ones, and we are close,” he shared with his followers.
WHEN IS THIS IS US BACK WITH NEW EPISODES?
While This Is Us is taking a short break, the show returns in just a couple weeks, as Fogelman promised. You can catch up with Kevin, Kate and Randall when This Is Us debuts a new episode on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 9/8c.
