Jimmy Kimmel and Billy Bush Send Trump Off on the ‘Access Hollywood’ Bus

Jimmy Kimmel is bidding goodbye to former president Donald Trump with a throwback to one of the most controversial moments from his 2016 campaign. In a preview clip from tonight’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel turned to Billy Bush for a fake news clip that brings back the notorious Access Hollywood Across America Tour bus and his infamous conversation with Trump, per Deadline.

Captioned “And it ends just as it began,” the video shows Trump walking away from a crowd of reporters and heading to the Access Hollywood bus, where none other than Bush is waiting for him. “Donald!” Bush calls. “Hey, look at you, you big lug. Get in there. Come on, game’s over,” he says, waving Trump onto the bus.

“Very fine seats on both sides,” Bush adds in a reference to Trump’s comments about the 2017 Charlottesville protests, when he claimed there were “some very fine people on both sides.”  The bit ends with Bush ordering the bus driver to “get us the fuck out of here,” while the bus rides off in the distance to the tune of the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.,” one of Trump’s campaign songs.

In 2016, Trump’s Access Hollywood video made headlines years after it was first recorded in 2005. The leaked audio resurfaced while Trump was campaigning for the presidency, rocking the election. In the tape, Trump describes moving on a woman “like a bitch,” and boasts that “you can do anything” as a star, but his “grab them by the pussy” line emerged as the most shocking of them all. In the clip, Bush laughs along to Trump’s comments, but later admitted the backlash against the tape was warranted. “I needed to have my ass handed to me,” he told Men’s Health last year.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs tonight at 11:35/10:35 on ABC. Watch the full clip in the video above.
