Real-life friends and onscreen lovers Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci star in Supernova, a romantic drama about two partners traveling across England on a trip back into their past. Sam (Firth) and Tusker (Tucci) have been together for two decades, but their relationship faces new challenges with Tusker’s early onset dementia, which Sam has no way to control or help. So, the two set off in an RV to revisit friends, family and places they haven’t seen in years.
Supernova, which comes from director Harry Macqueen, was first released at the San Sebastián International Film Festival in September 2020, and is finally premiering in the U.S. today. Described as “delicate,” “touching,” and “astounding,” Supernova is not a movie you want to miss.

If you’re looking to watch Firth and Tucci’s new movie Supernova at home, you’re out of luck. Right now, the only place you can catch the new drama is in your local movie theater.
WHEN WILL SUPERNOVA BE AVAILABLE TO STREAM?
According to Rotten Tomatoes, we won’t have to wait too long to watch Supernova at home. The drama will be available to stream starting next month, on Feb. 16. Right now, you can add the film to your wishlist on Google Play, but it’s not currently available to pre-order. Supernova will also be available to watch on Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu, and FandangoNow.
