Bill Maher Tackles “Lunatic” Marjorie Taylor Greene And Her ‘Jewish Space Lasers’ Claim On ‘Real Time’

Last night on HBO‘s Real Time with Bill Maher the HBO host took another run at “lunatic” Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and the conspiracy theories that she believes in. The late night host’s opening monologue celebrated Joe Biden as President and mentioned that Republicans no longer want an impeachment trial since they would not vote to convict Donald Trump anyway, “but it would go on his permanent record,” he joked.

Maher then went on to say that Republicans had a “lunatic problem” as he discussed controversial Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who he had also mentioned during last week’s show. He not only mentioned Greene’s numerous calls to murder Nancy Pelosi, who she now works with, but her belief in the “Frazzledip” conspiracy theory about Hillary Clinton.

“She’s never met a conspiracy theory she doesn’t like,” he said, as he discussed the claim, which falsely accused Hillary Clinton of raping a mutilated young girl and then wearing the girl’s face as a mask in a ritual sacrifice.

“Maybe I’m just getting old, but I remember when the craziest thing Republicans believed was trickle-down economics,” he said.

Later during his panel portion of the show, a stunned Maher learned about the “Jewish space lasers” theory for the first time. The theory, which MTG supported in 2018, pushes that California’s wildfires are an intentional disaster caused by a wealthy Jewish family collaborating with PG&E and the Governor of California, using a laser fired from space.

“Who is responsible for this double standard we have of what you can get away with,” said a frustrated Maher. “You know, the things that the Democrats have apologized for the slightest little things. And then [Republicans] get away with everything. Who is responsible for allowing this?”
