2021 SAG Award Nominations: Full List of Nominees

The nominations are officially in for this year’s SAG Awards, and while 2021 won’t bring a typical awards season, some of the year’s most popular and beloved films and shows still landed on the list of nominees. This year, Lily Collins and Daveed Diggs revealed the nominations on Instagram, and unsurprisingly, both The Crown and Schitt’s Creek are leading the way in nominations for a TV series. The Netflix historical drama claimed five nominations in total, including Best Ensemble in a Drama Series, while Dan Levy’s Pop TV comedy is tied at five, too. As for movies, Minari, One Night in Miami, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and The Trial of the Chicago 7 are all leading the way with nominations for Best Cast in a Motion Picture.

Today’s SAG nominations come right after the Golden Globe announced their own nominations yesterday, which included some notable snubs like I May Destroy You, which was completely shut out. The hit HBO series got its recognition today with a SAG nomination for Michaela Coel, who landed in the Best Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series category.

Another notable name on this year’s list is Chadwick Boseman, who is nominated posthumously for two awards: Male Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and Male Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for Da 5 Bloods.

The 2021 SAG Awards air Sunday, April 4 at 9/8c on TNT and TBS. Read on to check out the full list of nominees.
