The Go-Go’s

We got the beat, and now you do too thanks to The Go-Go’s, the spirited documentary about the all-girl group that made history in the early 1980s. Directed by Totally Under Control‘s Alison Ellwood, The Go-Go’s follows the titular band from their start back in 1978 to their rise as the first all-girl band to write their own songs and play their own music while making it to No. 1 on the charts. We are head over heels for this band, and our lips are sealed no longer thanks to The Go-Go’s, now available to rent on demand.

Falling

Viggo Mortensen (Green Book) stars in Falling, the family drama with an LGBTQ+ twist. The film centers on John (Mortensen) who lives with his partner (played by Terry Chen) and their daughter (played by Gabby Velis) far from the conservative and traditional rural life he left behind years ago. But when John learns that his conservative father, Willis (Lance Henriksen), is in the first stages of dementia, he moves his father from the isolated farm where John grew up to his California home while helping him relocate. But the best gestures mean nothing to the old man who has no intention to change his way of life in the slightest. Watch it all unravel in Mortensen’s directorial debut, Falling.
