The creative duo behind the 2011 smash hit Bridesmaids are back as Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo star in Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar!

Premiering Friday, February 12 on VOD, the new comedy written by and starring Wiig and Mumolo follows the epic adventure of Barb and Star, two lifelong friends who decide to leave their small Midwestern town to embark on a journey filled with romance, friendship, and… murder?! Talk about a record scratch. Directed by Josh Greenbaum (Too Funny to Fail), the all-star cast also includes Jamie Dornan, Damon Wayans Jr., Vanessa Bayer, Michael Hitchcock, Rose Abdoo, Phyllis Smith, and Fortune Feimster.

WILL BARB AND STAR GO TO VISTA DEL MAR BE ON NETFLIX OR HULU?

The film could find its way to Netflix or Hulu at some point, but in the immediate future, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar will only be available on demand. Since the film is distributed by Lionsgate, Hulu is a likely destination since the streaming service (along with FX) bought the rights to show Lionsgate movies released in 2020 and 2021.
