Guess which show has already made its way onto the Netflix Top 10? If you guessed The Sinner, well, you’re technically correct! Good job! But the specific series we’re talking about is the new Kevin James sitcom The Crew.

Earlier this week, Decider covered the career of Sarah Stiles (Beth). Today, we’re going to take a closer look at Broadway sensation Jillian Mueller, aka the talented actor who portrays Catherine! Interestingly enough, the Marlboro, New Jersey, native originally auditioned to play a race car driver on the show but ended up winning the role of Catherine Spencer. While the character of Catherine is the perfect sitcom foil for Kevin James, Mueller brings an extensive theater background to The Crew.

Catherine is portrayed by actress Jillian Mueller.

WHERE HAVE I SEEN JILLIAN MUELLER BEFORE?

Performing on Broadway since she was 12-years-old, Mueller portrayed Vivian Ward in Pretty Woman and appeared in How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Bye, Bye, Birdie. The theatrical standout also starred in touring productions of Flashdance The Musical (Alex Owens) and Dirty Dancing (Baby).

Jillian also played Chaz in Keola Racela’s 2020 horror comedy Porno (now available to rent on Amazon), Emily on an episode of The Last O.G., and appeared on A Gifted Man and Law & Order: SVU.

ANY JILLIAN MUELLER FUN FACTS?

Yes! A huge fan of, well, basically anything that appears on Bravo, Mueller and her Pretty Woman co-stars used to create mini lip-syncing videos out of fights from the Real Housewives. As Broadway.com reports, those videos led to the cast appearing as guest bartenders on an episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.
