To protect himself and his family, Cole joins a collection of warriors who have been selected to keep Earthrealm safe from the forces of Outworld.

“Throughout history, different cultures all over the world reference a great tournament of champions,” Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee) explains. “That dragon marking, I think it’s an invitation to fight for something known as Mortal Kombat.” With the help of Lord Raiden (Tadanobu Asano), Sonya and others, Cole embraces his destiny as a fighter and prepares to face off against the Outworld enemies in a battle for the future of the universe.
