Ava DuVernay’s Queen Sugar is currently airing its fifth season on Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). Ahead of the Season 5 premiere, OWN renewed the drama for a sixth season, so the Bordelon family isn’t going anywhere quite yet.
WHAT IS THE QUEEN SUGAR SEASON 5 RELEASE DATE?
Queen Sugar Season 5 officially premiered Tuesday, February 16. The series also aired a pre-season special, “Never Let Go,” the week prior, on February 9, but this was technically not part of Season 5.
