HBO subscribers who are stuck indoors during the ongoing pandemic as well as in the aftermath of the recent storm may be wondering what the feature movie is for tonight and what time it starts. The network typically shows a wide range of films, which will likely expand this year due to its arrangement with WarnerMedia, with a feature each Saturday night.

This week’s feature film is 2012’s classic title Argo starring Ben Affleck, the winner of three Academy Awards (including Best Picture) and a box office hit that made $232.5 million upon its release.

In the movie Argo, Affleck stars as CIA operative Tony Mendez, with Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, and John Goodman all in supporting roles. The historical drama thriller centers on exfiltration specialist Mendez as the agency attempts to rescue six U.S. embassy workers in Tehran, Iran, who escaped capture by Islamist extremists and are now hiding in the home of Canadian ambassador Ken Taylor.

How to Watch Argo on HBO and HBO Max

As is the case with all things HBO, you have a few ways to watch. If you have HBO included in your cable package and you prefer to watch live, you already know the drill. Make sure your TV is set to HBO around 8 p.m. ET tonight and you’re set.

What if you have cable but prefer to watch Argo on your own time? That’s where HBO NOW and HBO Max come into play. Basically if you have any sort of HBO account, you have access to HBO Max. Choose which app you want to watch.

Personally, we recommend going the HBO Max route because it has so much more content. If you have HBO through your cable account, enter your cable username and password. Otherwise enter the username and password you used when you signed up for HBO NOW or HBO Max. You can also sign up for HBO Max directly.

Are you looking for that HBO free trial? Unfortunately HBO eliminated that back in December. If you want to watch HBO content, you have to pay the HBO price.

What Else Is Playing on HBO Today?

Snow White and the Huntsman is also airing live today on HBO at 5:50 p.m. ET.

The fantasy drama was also released in 2012 and is loosely based on the German fairy tale “Snow White,” however, she’s the not the main character. The movie centers on Ravenna, wife of Snow White’s father King Magnus, who is a powerful sorceress and master of the Dark Army. Starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and more, the film won a litany of Teen and People’s Choice Awards.
