What happened on RPDR UK Season 2 Episode 8 ?

The episode kicked off with a Masc 4 Masc Singer mini challenge, wherein all the dolls had to dress up like rock and roll dudes and belt out a RuPaul jam. Ellie Diamond scored a win with her androgynous, Adam Ant/Flock of Seagulls-esque performance—and then things got messy. Ellie won the privilege of deciding the order of the week’s maxi challenge, a stand-up act rooted in each queen’s personal love life. Ellie put A’Whora—not a comedy queen—first and Lawrence Chaney up after Bimini Bon-Boulash, who trounced Chaney in the last comedy challenge. The two called shade and shenanigans, with Lawrence essentially having an Alaska in All Stars 2 style fit. But, the order was the order!

After getting some tips from judge Alan Carr, the queens got personal on the main stage—and maybe too personal, in A’Whora’s case. An unpolished Ellie skated by with her “Dirty Diamond” alter ego, and Bimini just straight up slayed the challenge (not a joke, just a fact).

Lawrence did just fine, even if she burned a lot of calories on the long walk to her punchlines. And lastly, Tayce really surprised the judges by being not terrible!

On the runway, category was Stoned On the Runway. A’Whora was dripping in jewels, Ellie looked like a snow bunny, Lawrence came out as a Star Trek crystalline creature, Tayce served Mugler, and Bimini turned all the heads with her pearlescent acne/rash eleganza. Bimini emerged the winner of the week, with A’Whora and Tayce in the bottom. Mind you, Lawrence was still serving a lot of emotion for safe during the Untucked portion of the episode! In the end, Tayce and A’Whora dueled to Dusty Springfield for the chance to stay… but A’Whora—who just won last week’s challenge!—was sent packing.
