Oscar Nominations 2021: See the Full List of Academy Award Nominees

It was an unprecedented year for the film industry, but nothing can stop Hollywood from celebrating its Biggest Night. This morning, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas will announce the 2021 Oscar nominees for the 93rd Academy Awards. While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the awards schedule slightly, film buffs can still expect an Oscar nominations announcement filled with plenty of snubs and surprises. This is the Academy, after all!
For the past few years, Netflix has attempted to reach the pinnacle of cinematic glory with a Best Picture win, and the 2021 broadcast offers the streaming giant its greatest opportunity yet. Netflix has multiple films competing for a Best Picture nomination, including Mank and The Trial of the Chicago 7, both virtual locks, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, which could slip into the field. Elsewhere, the streamer will look to secure nods for Da 5 Bloods star Delroy Lindo (who was snubbed by the Golden Globes), Chadwick Boseman and Viola Davis for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and Aaron Sorkin, writer-director of The Trial of the Chicago 7, among others.
But in order to achieve Oscars greatness, Netflix will first have to get through Nomadland, the Best Picture frontrunner and Best Drama winner at the Globes. Fans can expect to see  Nomadland Oscar nominations for director and writer Chloé Zhao, lead Frances McDormand, and maybe even supporting actor David Strathairn, as well as the film’s cinematographer, editors, and sound mixers.
The 93rd Academy Awards air Sunday, April 25 on ABC.
